Our client who are a promising e-commerce solution for fresh foods and FMCG ordering and delivery are currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor.About the Role
The primary function of this role is to Ensure the optimum utilization of warehouse space, movement of goods in warehouse in proper time.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Ensure the implementation of all processes, policies, procedures and standards for the Warehouse, in relation to approved procurement plans, annual business plans and annual budgets.
• Responsible for ensuring the proper storage of goods e.g. stacking & binning as well as the proper documentation.
• Oversee the storage of goods in line with the company’s standards, local government regulations.
• Participate in meetings with different regulatory authorities and the company’s internal auditors during inspections and internal audit reviews.
• Oversee the coordination with Quality Control to design standard operating procedures and policies for warehouse, such as temperatures, humidity, sanitation standards, etc.
• Ensure correct tallying of goods received with purchase order and reconciliation of any discrepancies and notification to respective party (internal/external) of the receipt of goods.
• Coordinate with the Logistics Supervisor to ensure timely receipt and release of goods.
• Coordinate with Facilities Management for regular maintenance of the Warehouse.
• Promote and implement Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) regulations and standards within the Warehouses.
• Motivate employees to achieve targets.
• Train new staff members and scheduling shifts.
• Monitor performance of direct reportees and guide them in managing their performance by providing appropriate feedback.
• Ensure that subordinates are aware and familiar with assigned tasks and responsibilities.
• Assist subordinates in resolution of any problems, discrepancies, and inquiries.
• Promote a positive team environment.

About You
Ideally accepts candidates with:

• High School Diploma or College. Related qualification preferred.
• Demonstrable experience in a supervisory capacity in storage and warehousing.
• Extensive experience with inventory keeping and inventory reports.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers.
• Competency in supply chain management software.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet and word processing software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with applicable laws, and storage health and safety standards.
