🔹 Key Requirements (Mandatory for All Roles)

To be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Proven experience in the Oil & Gas industry
• Experience working on onshore/offshore projects, plants, refineries, or EPC sites
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-compliance environment
• Valid and verifiable educational qualifications
• Willingness to comply with project safety and quality standards

⚠️ Note:
For HSE and AP (Authorized Person) roles, valid LEEA and/or NEBOSH certification is mandatory.

🧾 General Role Responsibilities (Depending on Position)

Selected candidates may be responsible for:

• Executing project activities in line with Oil & Gas standards and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with HSE, quality, and operational requirements
• Coordinating with site teams, supervisors, and engineers
• Following project schedules, work permits, and safety protocols
• Supporting safe and efficient execution of project deliverables

Urgent Hiring – Quality Control Engineer (Corrosion)

KNPC Refinery Project | Kuwait | Long-Term Requirement

A major EPC company based in Kuwait is urgently hiring an experienced Quality Control Engineer (Corrosion) for a long-term assignment at KNPC Refinery.

This role is ideal for professionals with strong refinery corrosion inspection experience, solid knowledge of international codes, and the ability to work in a high-standard Oil & Gas environment.

  ⚠️ Corrosion exposure in refinery environment is mandatory

💼 Position: Quality Control Engineer (Corrosion)

💰 Salary & Benefits Package

• Fixed Salary: KWD 1,550
• Accommodation Allowance: KWD 235
• Food Allowance: KWD 30
• Annual Air Ticket Allowance: KWD 150
• Local Transportation: Free (Company provided)

🎓 Mandatory Certification

📌 API 571 Certification – Mandatory
(Candidates without API 571 will not be considered)

📋 Job Description – Quality Control Engineer (Corrosion)

The Quality Control Engineer (Corrosion) will be responsible for monitoring, controlling, and preventing corrosion-related deterioration across refinery equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Study, monitor, and report environmental and operational conditions that cause corrosion and material degradation
• Identify corrosion mechanisms and recommend effective mitigation and prevention solutions
• Coordinate corrosion control activities with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and external consultants
• Perform corrosion assessments on piping, vessels, tanks, and refinery equipment
• Ensure compliance with international standards and codes
• Prepare technical reports, inspection findings, and recommendations
• Support Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) activities and methodologies
• Participate in inspections, shutdowns, and integrity management programs

📘 Technical Knowledge Required

Candidates must be well-versed in the latest international standards, including:

• API
• ASME
• ANSI
• ASTM
• TEMA
• NACE

Experience with RBI methodology is highly preferred.

🎓 Minimum Qualification & Experience

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Chemical, Production, Civil, Fabrication, or equivalent
• Relevant refinery experience is mandatory
• Post-graduation or industrial training in Metallurgy is an added advantage

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a large refinery / petrochemical / fertilizer industry
• At least 4 years of in-service inspection experience
• Candidates with more than 7 years of total experience, including minimum 4 years in refinery, may be considered for higher-level QC roles based on performance
