Business Analyst – Location: KW

Job Profile:
To be part of a solid team (the Business Development, M&A, and Corporate Strategy team) that is responsible for evaluating Group-wide investment and expansion opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the growth of existing Group businesses by contributing to the formulation of their business strategies
- Conduct desktop research on a wide array of companies/projects in multiple sectors and countries
- Build financial models to value companies/projects and prepare PowerPoint presentations
- Evaluate different business propositions to determine whether or not a more detailed investigation or due diligence should be initiated
- Work closely with external top-tier consultants and investment bankers on Group-wide expansion opportunities and feasibility studies
Skills, Knowledge, Experience Required:
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering or other quantitative field from a reputable university; a strong academic record
- Fresh graduate or maximum 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience
- Sound knowledge of business, financial, and economic concepts.
- Solid analytical ability.
- Fluency in English and Arabic; strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
