• Ensure monthly / Annual closing by review of station expenses for accuracy as per KAC rules and identifying budget variance.
• Candidate should be familiar with payable receivable and General Ledger modules and should have experience in accounting software.
• Preparation of payment vouchers in conformity to contracts and approvals.
• Assisting in budgetary controls and to follow up with vendors / service providers and Banks etc.
• raising invoices in debtors module and following up with customers and raising receipts.
• Any other specific work assigned by the superiors.

Requirements

• University degree in a finance or accounting discipline or equivalent 4 years hands on accounting experience preferably in Airline Industry.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills and ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Self-motivated, able to prioritize multiple tasks, work under strict deadlines and exhibit a team player attitude.
• Good English communication skills both written and oral.
• Fair knowledge of Microsoft office; specifically, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Job Description and Scope of Work:

Carries out variety of general office duties, liaison with outstation/sections in America Region.  Assist and provide administrative support and guidance to all departments under the jurisdiction of Senior Regional Director.

• Action all departments correspondence and delegate matters to the department concerned.
• Prepare and maintain record of all T/R tickets issued to agencies’ personnel.
• Prepare and maintain records of Trade Exchange Agreement in USA and Canada.
• Prepare and distribute Excess Baggage Targets to JFK Airport.
• Follow-up and maintain JFK cargo AD-Hoc approvals and authorization requests.
• Follow up with OAL regarding SPA, Trucking companies’ contracts in USA/Canada.
• Direct liaison between Attorneys and Head Office.
• Back-up assistance for other section Managers when staff on leave.
• Coordinate with H.O. and attorneys on amendments/regulations passed by DOT and National Transportation Safety Board.
