Costing Clerk

Location: KW

Job Responsibilities

•    Do proper costing of the Jobs in progress in Service areas, close the job cards on job completion after complying with the published pricing and discount norms and raise the invoices on the system  and collect cash from customers.
•    Accurately and efficiently operate cash register; deposit the daily cash collected to treasury, bank or duly authorised collection agents as advised by the Cost office co-ordinator or Supervisor. Obtain due acknowledgment from the person receiving the funds on Fund Transfer forms for cash handed over.
•    Ensure all disbursements are carefully handled after verification of proper supporting documents as per company policy;
•    Ensure all receipts and payments are timely recorded in cash register and the documents are filed and stored in an orderly manner along with all the supporting documents (Invoices, job cards, receipts etc)
•    Sort, count and wrap coins and currency.
•    Reconcile cash in hand with balance in Cash register on daily basis.
•    Ensure that there is sufficient cash in the cash drawer
•    Ensure that all schedules, including month end reconciliations, relating to cash are prepared on timely basis.
•    Flexibility to work above business hours and weekends as needed.
•    Ad hoc duties as assigned by line manager

Candidate Requirements

•    Knowledge of Bookkeeping and recording the accounting entries.
•    Preparing reconciliations and month end schedules.
•    Commerce graduate
•    Able to speak English and Arabic
•    Knowledge of Excel and Word
•    Minimum of 1 year experience in Cash handling and disbursements

📊 Job Description – What You’ll Be Doing

As our Accountant, you’ll support the day-to-day financial operations of the company and work closely with the finance team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling daily accounting tasks — recording transactions, organizing financial data, and keeping records clean and up to date
  • Reconciling bank statements and accounts, making sure everything matches (and spotting issues early)
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable, including invoice checks and payment follow-ups
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and statements for management review
  • Monitoring petty cash and ensuring all transactions are properly documented

Nothing overly complicated… but accuracy matters here. A lot.

✅ Basic Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience: 1–2 years of accounting or finance experience preferred
    (Fresh graduates are welcome — everyone starts somewhere)
  • Language:
    • Arabic fluency is required
    • English knowledge is a plus
  • Comfortable working with numbers, details, and routine tasks
  • Organized, responsible, and willing to learn

Assistant PR & Events Manager

Job Summary

The job holder will nurture a strong industry network, increase awareness and develop an enviable corporate image by developing and executing effective events and communication (customer and business culture) as well as, partnerships with third party organizations and businesses.

Job Responsibilities

•    Developing advertising opportunities and brand exposure with other business sectors
•    Planning, executing and managing events and media
•    Securing sponsorships to assists with brand publicity and increase brand awareness
•    Develop and execute campaign activation ideas in and out of store
•    Develop an events communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics
•    Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level exposure in print, broadcast and online media
•    Coordinate all public relations activities
•    Work with social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media
•    Leverage existing partnerships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry
•    Manage media inquiries and interview requests
•    Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis
•    Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis
•    Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
•    Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate placements recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them

Candidate Requirements

•    5+ years’ experience in related field
•    Energetic, passionate and confident
•    Proven working experience in public relations / production and events required
•    Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns and events at both a local and regional level
•    Strong relationships with both local and regional business and industry media outlets
•    Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews
•    Exceptional writing and editing skills
•    Solid experience with production houses
•    Event planning experience
•    BA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing
