Job Summary

The Senior Accountant is a crital part of the Accounting Team and will support all aspects of the accounting and controls function.

Job Responsibilities

•    Review current systems, Assess risks and controls related to processes and support in designing appropriate internal controls to protect company assets.
•    Handle Independently accounting, compliance and audit of smaller legal entities
•    Coordinate and support Finance with Information and Analysis
•    Keep abreast of regulatory changes and coordinate with Legal team and Ministry on compliance to Local laws
•    Ledger scrutiny and timely reconciliation of accounts

Candidate Requirements

•    Must have graduated in Accounting/Commerce and display good relevant accounting knowledge
•    A minimum of 4 years of experience working as an Accountant or Senior Accountant, preferably in a multinational environment.
•    Sound knowledge of accounting and internal controls.
•    Analytical mind set with good problem solving and presentation skills.
•    Proficiency in MS office with hands on knowledge on ERP systems
•    Strong team orientation
•    Strong communication skills in English, knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage

Sales Executive

  • Oversee and improve day to day operations of retail nursery
  • Create and maintain an innovative, attractive, neat and clean display of plants and non-plants in throughout the nursery
  • Respond customer queries and offer excellent customer services
  • Order nursery stock according to requirements and manage inventory
  • Maintain and keep all plants in the best condition of health
  •  Responsible for Nursery administration and staff training
  • Interact with vendors and wholesale customers
  •  Provide feedback to management about competitor’s products and prices
  • Monitor weather conditions and pay special attention to hot and cold temperature to shift the live plants according
  • Communicate and cooperate with production team and stores to receive order and receive right items at right time
  • Able to provide technical support and after sale consultancy to customers

 

Requirements
•          Preferable degree in horticulture/Landscape or equal
•          Minimum 10 year experience in sale in a large scale nursery
•          Kuwaiti driving licence
•          Proficient in both oral and written communications
•          Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel

Sr. Analyst – Projects

Job Summary

Responsible for facilitating new store launches across multiple locations and providing support and problem solving for all existing stores.

This role will be at the intersect of business & IT, managing multiple stakeholders, including external stakeholders such as technology partners and vendors.

Job Responsibilities

o    Plan and manage the requirements and needs of new stores; this includes but is not limited to:
o    Procuring hardware and software licenses (POS + other non-POS equipment).
o    Coordinating with different IT teams/vendors/partners to ensure proper and timely delivery of solutions (WIFI, network, PC’s, etc.).
o    Ensuring the proper and timely configuration of POS Systems/Users.
o    Ensuring setup is done in compliance with the organization’s IT standards & security policy.
o    Handle multiple size projects, such as: small event set-up, new store launch, multi-store, and/or new country launch.
o    Support incident and service request management. This includes but is not limited to:
o    Ensuring timely solution delivery for incidents and service requests.
o    Ensuring incidents and requests are resolved within agreed SLA’s by proactively following up with vendors/partners and IT teams.
o    Ensuring timely closures for service tickets and incidents.
o    Providing a monthly analysis of incidents and service tickets in order to flag and/or reduce repetitive issues.
o    Handle change requests until solution delivery.
o    Manage vendor relations in all countries of operation and build a strong relationship with said vendors to facilitate project completion and success.
o    Prepare monthly progress reports for senior and executive management review and use.
o    Develop SOP’s and training manuals for store staff.
o    Conduct trainings for store staff.
o    Asset tracking.

Candidate Requirements

Knowledge & Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree, Computer Science/ Business Administration
•5+ years in project management. Experience in retail is industry preferred.
•Project Management (PMP), or similar Project Management related qualification
