About the Role
To deliver comprehensive technical support in both hardware and software issues ensuring promt problem resolution action. Additionally, adeptly troubleshooting a diverse range of IT concerns spanning from software glitches to hardware malfunctions and maintaining records of all support interaction and providing effecient customer service.

About You
Ideally considers candidates with the following:

Bachelor Degree (Computer science, IT, Computer Engineering)
Proven experience in IT Helpdesk Support/IT Support – Troubleshooting of IT related problems from in-house software to hardware, such as desktop/laptops, printers, to MS office
Basic Active Directory knowledge. Creating user accounts, reset passwords, create groups
With ITIL Foundation background /certifications is a preference
Strong Customer Service, Communication and Documentation skills
Residing in Kuwait

Responsibilities

Communicate with stakeholders to identify what they want to accomplish with a system
Use expert-level administration and optimization of hosts and servers to ensure high degree of availability and appropriate resource management
Standardize and automate processes using scripting technology
Install and configure operating systems, software, and hardware components, and leverage IT staff for routine tasks by clearly documenting design, maintenance, and support procedures
Test software routinely for bugs, redundancies, and security issues
Conduct high-level root-cause analysis of service interruptions and establish

Qualifications

Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching
Experience in project management, application design and integration, and cloud computing
Expertise in creating, analyzing, and repairing large-scale distributed systems
Knowledge of Git or other version-control software

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in technology or computer science
Professional certification
3-5 Years of experience

Advanced knowledge in order to support main AVEVA applications: ADMINISTRATION, PDMS, E3D, ENGINEERING, REVIEW, Aveva GLOBAL
Create and maintain the E3D Project Data base and Project Plant structure
Responsible for Managing the Project Plant structure
Setting up project in Global Work share and Standalone environment.
A good knowledge of PML 1 AND 2
Manage the project E3D set up and customization activities.
Manage the installation of E3D software and related software on user workstations and manage the use of licenses among users
Administrate E3D user Licenses
Proficient in setup and integration of 3D Design Review Tools of such as Smart Plant Review, Navisworks etc.
Hands on experience on integration of third-party tools with S3D (e.g., SACS, Caesar)
Adaptability towards different SEED files and managing the project setup / configuration and other project requirements.
Create project backups and restore the model, catalog and drawing data, schedule and validate all E3D data base back-ups for the project
Familiarity with laser scan point clouds and the use of Cloud monitoring tool is a plus
Create and Maintain Plot files
Creation and maintenance of Orthographic Drawing set up to meet client requirements
Creation and maintenance of isometric drawing set up and isometric trouble shooting
Responsible for all E3D and E3D related CAD software including support design and configuration of Piping, structural, Electrical, Equipment (all disciplines)
Pipe class development, support standardization & customization
Drawing template creation and customization of all discipline deliverables
Creation and Maintenance of E3D reference Data catalogues
Create and Administrate the Global Workshare environment
Create new pipe supports, Name rule and Drawing styles as per drawing

What you will bringTechnical and Industry Experience

A recognized and relevant engineering degree
Knowledge of CAD application such as Micro station, Smart sketch & AutoCAD.
Training, sharing experiences among team members to enhance and standardize E3D/PDMS activities
Good team member and proactive approach towards problem solving
Comfortable with presenting to and training others
Should have working knowledge on MDS / Support Module
Should have basic working knowledge of AVEVA Engineering
