We are looking to recruit a full-time Lab Technicians at the American University of the Middle East – AUM to join our team.
Applicants who are bilingual and able to demonstrate fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken) languages are highly preferred but not mandatory.
Job Description:
- Ensure that all the scheduled experiments are ready to run for any given day
- Be available and ready to provide any needed assistance to the lab instructor during the lab sessions
- Keep up-to-date maintenance schedule of the equipment in the lab
- Keep the lab tidy at all times
- Prepare and perform other tasks as requested
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· The candidate should be based in Kuwait
· A bachelor’s degree in any of the following majors:
– Electrical Engineering
– Computer Engineering
– Mechanical Engineering
– Physics
– Organic Chemistry
· Preferably having an experience as a lab technician
· Ability to work in a diverse, interdisciplinary and fast paced environment
· Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
· Motivated and willing to acquire new skills
· Attentive to details
