Job Summary
The Group Enterprise Architecture (EA) function within Alghanim Industries IT is responsible for providing architecture oversight and
guidance across the entire application and technology landscape, aligned to the tactical and strategic business initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
• Working with Head of Enterprise Architecture to define, mature and maintain the EA strategy and framework
• Drive adherence to EA technical standards and leading practices (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman)
• Provide architecture governance, guidance, policy, process, solutions and technology leadership business unit or technology domain
• Maintain and execute a sustainable and comprehensive roadmap for EA domains in alignment with business/ IT strategy
• Establish and run EA governance & stakeholder management mechanisms, integral to overall IT demand management
• Provide architecture guidance, governance and solutions to complex enterprise problems
• Create high level solution blueprints for business initiatives leading into sound investment decisions and/or exploitation of existing
IT assets
• Provide EA services and an “Architecture Centre of Excellence” capability to progammes and projects
• Deliver architecture governance and ensure projects’ adherence to EA by running domain specific Design Authorities
• Collaborate with and guide IT change delivery, IT services, PMO, 3rd party SIs, software vendors and technology services to ensure
architectural consistency, alignment and sustainability across the IT landscape
• Interface with senior executives, business stakeholders and IT business partners to influence and guide strategy and to secure
architectural ongoing principles
• Perform IT landscape analysis and audit to identify risks and deficiencies and recommend solutions
• Lead, develop, maintain and extend EA artifacts, presentations, system maps and reference documentation, including where
required managing internal and/or third-party resources to execute
• Provide domain specific business technology thought leadership, keep pace with change in new technologies, methods and products
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor or Master degree in IT, MIS, IT Management or comparable technology / engineering discipline
• 10+ years of industry experience having strong track record of delivering solution or technical architecture for large size
programs/projects in heterogeneous environments
• TOGAF or Zachman qualified, and exposure/ working familiarity with an EA tool(s) will be advantageous (e.g Orbus, Mega)
• Packaged software implementation experience of at least one of the leading application vendors is a must
• Retail, Automotive, Industrial, Engineering experience is desirable
• Client side lead consulting/advisory experience will be an advantage
• Specialism in given business units / domains, but good understanding of other domains from a big picture standpoint
• Knowledge of business re-engineering principles and processes
• Familiarity with graphical modelling approaches, tools and model repositories
• Experience and comfort in presenting and facilitating at senior management levels
Necessary Skills
• Customer focused having excellent communication (written and verbal), documentation and presentation skills
• Excellent understanding of business and technology process, skills, organizations, stakeholder management, change management
and critical success factors for large scale IT initiatives
• Proven abilities to think in terms of end-to-end landscape design, consistency, automation, planning, risks, constraints with a
passion to secure value from architecture
• Experience and knowledge of cloud enabled services / applications

IT Officer – Service Desk

Job Summary
The IT Service Desk Analyst will provide first line technical support to internal staff and be available to work on a shift pattern and out of hours pro rata. The successful candidate will require an aptitude for working with applications/systems to undertake analysis, diagnosis and resolution of staff problems, which may range from straightforward to more complicated technical issues. There is also a range of administration duties within this role. Coverage for support includes telephony across EMEA and Asia whilst also supporting offices in GCC where travel may be required to other offices. Home workers will also be supported.
Job Responsibilities
•Act as a single point of contact for phone calls and emails from staff regarding IT issues and queries
•Receiving, logging and managing calls from internal staff via telephone and email
•Maintaining an Asset Database and track changes
•1st and 2nd line support – troubleshooting of IT related problems from in-house software to hardware, such as desktop/laptops, printers, to MS office
•Troubleshoot basic network issues
•Escalate unresolved calls to the operations support team
•Log all calls in the Service Desk Call Logging system (Remedy)
•Take ownership of user problems and follow up the status of problems on behalf of the user and communicate progress in a timely manner
•To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles
•Provide basic in-house training in MS Office applications used within the Association (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
•Provide stats for the weekly Service Desk report on call trends
•Publishing support documentation to assist staff with requests for information & provide staff training if required
•Basic Active Directory knowledge. Creating user accounts, reset passwords, create groups etc.
•To arrange for external technical support where problems cannot be resolved in house

The primary responsibility is to perform continuous assessment on the systems and improvise, fulfill the gaps where applicable.

Candidate Requirements

Should have experience in leading development team to deliver multiple projects in parallel.
Should have strong experience in one of the frontend frameworks like Angular, react, Next JS.
Working experience in implementation and architecture preparation of Microservices.
Must have good understanding of retail business framework, technical architecture, deployment of commerce software and integration of the online store to third party systems.
Strong and demonstrable solution architecting skills with minimum 5 years of experience including application architecture, object and data modeling, database design etc.
Should have grown in the technical career path with hands on experience in web development, coding, and solution design.
Knowledge of Agile Software development methodology
Must have excellent knowledge of Cloud administration (AWS or GCP or Azure)
Must have excellent knowledge of database administration
Knowledge of Social Media integration, SEO, SEM, Google Analytics
Strong business analysis and modeling techniques are required.
