Job Summary

The IT Associate – Network & Telephony is responsible to operate and maintain of the overall Global network infrastructure of the company. Monitor the network performance and to work with IT helpdesk in resolving any daily network related issues.
With excellent knowledge of working in a multi-function business covering skills such as Cisco, Palo Alto over both LAN and WAN.

Job Responsibilities

•    Resolution or escalation of incidents and service requests within Service Level Agreements (SLA)
•    Management of network change communications and procedures within the company’s change control framework
•    Monitor and report on network health using management tools and Performance Manager
•    Perform daily network health checks identify and rectify any potential issues in a timely manner
•    Install and commission network infrastructure platforms including Switches, Routers, Firewalls and load balancers
•    Provide expertise in development design and deployment of Wi-Fi and mobile (3G/4G) communications solutions to company’s Enterprise and customer engineering projects
•    Create and maintain accurate, clear and comprehensive network documentation
•    Assist in the recommendation of new network equipment to meet project requirements
•    Work closely with other areas of the business to provide appropriate solutions and specialist support/advice for projects and variation orders as required
•    Take responsibility for customer project deliverables
•    Perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
•    Ensure application availability, performance, scalability and security throughout company’s networks by using traffic management, delivery and acceleration techniques in conjunction with WAN optimization caching and quality of service methods.
•    Provide 2nd operational support to IP voice and IP video systems

Candidate Requirements

Education:
•    Degree educated or qualified by experience
•    CCIE and CCNP Certifications
Experience:
•  3 – 5 years experience in similar role

Skills & Attributes:

•    3+ years hands on experience with various Cisco platforms including but not limited to Nexus Series.
•    Experience in managing mission critical, highly available infrastructure
•    Excellent problem diagnostics and resolution skills.
•    At least 3-year experience working with a Cisco data network platform.
•    Extensive experience using network analysis and packet capture tools
•    Excellent knowledge of Cisco and Meraki Wireless Solutions.
•    Extensive knowledge of data center technologies, TCP/IP, routing, switching, WAN,
•    OSPF, BGP, OTV, HSRP, VPC,VRRP, VTP, STP etc.
•    Excellent Cisco IOS & NXOS administration & troubleshooting skills on LAN & WAN Equipment
•    Knowledge of Firewalling Solutions, load balancers, SSL/CAG Gateways (Advantageous)
•    Knowledge of Cisco ASA IPSEC site-site VPN solutions
•    In-depth experience on data center N7K, N5K..etcs switches.
•    Appreciation of voice, video and multimedia technologies
•    Ability to work closely with 3rd party supplier and equipment vendors at a technical level
•    Provide mentoring and training as the opportunities arise.
•    Perform network design and capacity planning for WAN.
•    Improve application performance across WANs
•    An in-depth understanding of network infrastructure design and best practice principles including routing and switching concepts and technologies, advanced IP Addressing, dynamic routing protocols.
•    MPLS, Secure and resilient routing solutions, Unified communications, Load balancing and traffic management, Quality of Service (QOS), Wireless and Mobile communications.

Education
