Job Title:

Sr. Accounts and Control Associate

Location:

Fahaheel (Opps Al Kout Mall, Xcite Store)

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in monthly closing activities to ensure timely closure of books of accounts
• Preparation of financial statements as per IFRS and GAAP
• Handle internal and statutory audits and timely providing of audit requirements
• Handle and conduct store audits and circulate audit report to management on a timely basis
• Take proactive action in highlighting risk issues and suggest for proper action
• Preparation of VAT returns on a timely basis
• Ensure all fixed assets are accounted for as per IFRS
• Experience in dealing with operation team in resolving issues
• Handle ad-hoc automation projects
• Good working knowledge in IFRS and IAS

Knowledge, Skills and experience required:

• University Graduate in Accounting /Finance
• Candidate should possess professional ceritification ACCA, CPA or CA  or MBA
• Experience of 3 to 5 years in Accounting or Auditing.
• Preferred experience in food and beverage industry
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Fluency in English and Arabic Communication
