Kuwait Opening Salons and Barbershops with Ministry Of Health measures, iiQ8 Kuwait City, 15th August, 2020: Barbershops and women’s salons would resume on the start of the fourth stage of the return to normal life plan, after a suspension of activities was ordered to combat the spread of the coronavirus. The Ministry of Health issued health requirements that regulate the salons’ return to work, starting next Tuesday. According to the regulations, a system will be started for reserving appointments for shaving, only one employee will be required to serve each customer, and there is a ban on shaving the beard, face scrubbing, dyeing eyebrows and applying makeup. In addition, Moroccan or Turkish bath services, jacuzzis, sauna and massages will be prohibited until further notice. The evacuation flights began from yesterday for those who wish to return back to India. The agreement between two countries are that flights are intended for departure only and not for arrivals in compliance with the circular issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation in advance to prevent the entry of foreigners into Kuwait from 31 countries, including India. The coordination is underway to increase the departing passengers to 2,500 per day from 18th to 31st of Aug which will be implemented soon. The number of departing passengers varies from day to day, but it depends on advance reservations by passengers.
