Kuwait To Make Covid-I9 Vaccine Booster Compulsory
- Cabinet on Monday decided to impose a third shot on those who got vaccinated against Covid 19, nine months earlier as of Sunday, Jan 2 , 2022.
- Incoming passengers must carry out a negative PCR test 48 hours ahead of arrival
- 10-day home quarantine will be imposed on all passengers coming to the country as of Sunday Dec. 26, 2021.
- Negative PCR test should be carried out a least 72 hours following arrival, the home quarantine could be over.
- Advised people not to travel unless necessary & to follow all health guidelines & precautions.
- Approved that Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022, will be a holiday to replace the New Year’s Day holiday which falls on Saturday.
Kuwait announced that people who do not take a booster shot nine months after their second dose will no longer be considered fully vaccinated, and that starting from January 2, 2022.
