NBK Capital is currently recruiting for a Senior Portfolio Analyst for its MENA Asset Management Division.
Role summary: Research & model companies in the universe. Have an accessible network of sell-side firms, management teams, and other agencies in assigned sectors. Support portfolio manager in the management of Kuwait centric portfolio to ensure outperformance. Support portfolio managers and division head in client-related activities and ad hoc assignments.

Financial Analyst Automotive, Senior Financial Analyst – Ecommerce, iiQ8 Jobs Alghanim

Responsibilities:

• Research companies, build models and provide updates on companies in the universe. Understand the Kuwaiti market from various angles including regulatory, news and market intelligence.

• Assist lead Portfolio Manager with portfolio management activities in terms of proposing new ideas, following up with analysts on selected ideas, scrutinizing qualitative and quantitative equity analysis, and execution for mandates. In addition, to using Factset for Performance attribution analysis and screening.

• Prepare presentation, both for the client and the management, in addition to various special requests for the client.

• Support mandate by working with various internal and external stakeholders such as operations and legal teams, auditors, etc.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics. CFA is a big plus.

• 3-4 years of relevant equity analysis experience either on the buy- or sell-side with top tier firm. Strong knowledge of at least 2 sectors in the MENA region. Kuwait Public Equities Research or Portfolio Management experience is a must.

• Fluent in English and Arabic.

• Analytical & Modeling Equity Experience.

• Strong analytical and communication skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication/presentation skills.

• Excellent numerical skills including investment analysis, and securities screening.
