Accounting Intern – Financial consolidation and reporting
Job Purpose
The Associate accounts and control will be responsible for preparing the management accounts, assist in the completing the consolidation working, notes to the financial statements and accounts maintenance activities.
Duration:
5 Months
Position Tasks:
- Assist in preparing management accounts based on trial balance, along with completing the notes workings.
- Be able to prepare & understand consolidation workings and financial statements.
- Assist in research on various International Financial reporting standards “IFRS”.
- Apply IFRS and group accounting policy concepts to day-to-day processes and accounting.
- Coordinate with external auditors to provide workings and information.
- Be able to assist in completing the various tax/Zakat filings in the various jurisdictions.
- Work along the finance team and support in accounting related day to day matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or Finance
- Candidates pursuing ACCA/CPA would be preferred.

Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategically minded senior financial analyst to join our finance team in Xcite. The person will be responsible for the preparation of various reports which would help the Sr. Finance Manager and business teams in Decision-making. Furthermore, this role includes preparation of yearly budgets, quarterly forecasts, monitoring and analyzing business performance, and providing inputs to the financial planning process.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Finance Manager / Finance Director in business budgeting, forecasting by working closely with operations and understanding key drivers
- Prepare various reports which provide insights on various components of business performance. Work closely with the Operations team to identify and understand reasons of deviation vs budget/forecast/previous years
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators and provide/share key takeaways on the performance
- Compute NPV and IRR for capital expenditure/AFE by integrating with operations
- Liaise with the accounting team and review provisions/expenses/revenue leakage etc. and instruct respective departments to take corrective actions
- Support Operations Managers/ General Managers etc. on ad-hoc requests
- Supervise/review the workings/tasks of financial analysts in the team
Candidate Requirements
• Professionally Qualified – CA/CPA/CMA/MBA or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of post-qualification professional experience within finance
• Sound knowledge of financial and management accounting concepts.
• Good leadership, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proven analytical capabilities.
• Fluency in English; strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

Job Summary
The Receptionist reports to the Showroom Manager and provides administrative support to all Central Services and Support Operations of the Automotive division of Alghanim Industries.
Job Responsibilities
- Welcomes customers and direct them to the appropriate representative
- Responsible for maintaining all files
- Arranging and coordinating the manager’s schedule
- Coordination of all archive support for Automotive division
- Writing and translating all facility correspondence (Arabic and English)
- Organizing travel and hotel accommodation for all managerial staff
- Responsible for preparing employees change of status forms
- Coordinating with HR office on all personal matters relating showroom staff
Handling all incoming and outgoing mail for the manager
Candidate Requirements
- Must be able to speak and write Arabic and English
- Must be self-motivating, personable, able to handle demanding customers
- Good communication skills
- Pleasant personality
- Presentable and professional
- Able to work on computer (Word, Excel, Internet etc.)
- Team player and punctual
Willing to work two shifts (8:00 – 12:00 and 4:30 – 8:00)
