HR Administrator – Dubai | UAE HR & Administration Jobs

 

 

🔹 Job Overview

We’re looking for a hands-on HR Administrator to join a growing team in Dubai.

This role is for someone who genuinely enjoys keeping things organised — from people and paperwork to portals and processes. If you’re the kind of person who notices when something is missing, likes structure, and doesn’t mind juggling different tasks throughout the day… you’ll fit right in.

No two days are exactly the same here — and that’s part of the appeal.

🔹 Job Responsibilities

You’ll be involved in both HR and administration, covering a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  • Preparing the annual recruitment plan and managing hiring accordingly
  • Managing and controlling the HR-related budget
  • Preparing and maintaining HR manuals, policies, procedures, and job descriptions
  • Looking after employee welfare and managing the labour camp
  • Organising staff training sessions and internal activities
  • Maintaining accurate staff records (leave tracking, documents, issued items, etc.)
  • Monitoring employee performance against KPIs and objectives, and sharing improvement recommendations with management
  • Managing the visa process (new visas, renewals, and overseas recruitment)
  • Maintaining company online portals and admin systems
  • Handling company document renewals (trade license, immigration cards, vehicle registrations, and more)
  • Preparing documents for new client registrations
  • Managing company insurance policies (medical, vehicle, workmen compensation, contractor all-risk, etc.)
  • Creating and updating company profiles and pre-qualification documents
  • Preparing HR and admin reports for management
  • Supporting IT-related queries and maintaining the admin portal (Microsoft 365)
  • Organising meetings, taking minutes, and handling follow-ups
  • Preparing administrative contracts (vehicle servicing, wastewater management, etc.)
  • Assisting the purchasing department with quotations and LPOs when required
  • Preparing departmental budgets and coordinating with the accounts team to ensure smooth cash flow

🔹 Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 2–6 years of HR / Admin experience in the UAE
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to handle multiple responsibilities with confidence and professionalism

🔹 Job Description

This role sits at the heart of our finance operations.

As a Senior General Ledger Accountant, you’ll be responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating all general ledger activities — making sure every transaction is recorded correctly, reconciled properly, and compliant with accounting standards and internal controls.

You’ll work closely with management, support monthly closings, and continuously look for smarter, more efficient ways to strengthen financial processes.

In short: you’ll be the person who makes sure everything balances — on paper and in practice.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Planning and supervising all general ledger transactions
  • Performing bank reconciliations and monitoring liquidity positions
  • Ensuring accurate classification and recording of financial transactions
  • Preparing accounts in line with accounting standards and applicable laws
  • Supporting monthly closing activities and preparing monthly trial balances
  • Reviewing financial data, analyzing discrepancies, and proposing improvements
  • Ensuring strong adherence to internal controls and reporting requirements
  • Recommending system or process improvements to enhance efficiency and control

🔹 Requirements & Qualifications

We’re looking for someone solid, reliable, and detail-driven:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field
    OR
    Diploma in a relevant field with 3 additional years of experience
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in a similar general ledger or accounting role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage deadlines, monthly closures, and reporting with confidence
