GO Cards are widely obtainable and can be purchased from the following locations:
Bahrain Bus Route 19, Riffa – Manama (BPTC 19 Bus)
- Ticket offices at Manama, Isa Town and Muharraq.
- Ticket Vending Machines located at Manama, Isa Town and Muharraq Bus Terminals.
- Ticket Vending Machine at University of Bahrain.
- One of our sales team.
- There is an initial fee of 500Fils when first purchasing a GO Card and it can then be reloaded with any amount of credit up to a maximum of BD 50.

How do I travel by bus in Bahrain?
Can visit a retail office at one of our bus terminals to purchase a GO-Card which will cost 500 fils. This will enable travel for 138 fils per trip. The maximum amount that will be charged is 350 fils per day, there is no limit to the number of trips that can be made.

The Bahrain Public Transport Company has 28 Bus routes in Bahrain with 512 Bus stops.
A single ticket will cost 250 Fils, a day pass will cost 600 Fils including unlimited trips in the same day.
A GO Card is the simplest and cheapest way to use our buses. With a GO Card you can board buses much faster, as you just need to Check-In using the ticket machines; you don’t have to worry about having the correct change and you won’t need to ask the driver for change. The machine will automatically charge the correct fare when you Check-In and deduct the fare from the credit on the GO Card.
