Business ventures :
Reddy first acquired Sandur Power Company Limited (SPCL), a defunct power project from its original promoter M B Ghorpade in 2001. SPCL later invested crores of rupees in other companies and could acquire more businesses. It is headed by his wife, Y. S. Bharathi. Reddy sold his shares in SPCL and moved away from his active direct businesses as he got more involved in politics.

He studied at The Hyderabad Public School up to 12th grade. Tollywood actor Sumanth Kumar Yarlagadda was his best friend at school. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Pragathi Mahavidyalaya Degree and PG college, Ram Koti, Hyderabad.

Reddy married Bharathi on 28 August 1996. The couple has two daughters, the elder of whom studied undergraduate in London.

Early life
Jagan Mohan Reddy was born in Christian Reddy family in Jammalamadugu in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh to Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy and Y. S. Vijayamma. Reddy has a younger sister, Y. S. Sharmila, who is also a politician.

నవంబర్ 6 2017 న ఆయన ప్రజా సంకల్పయాత్ర పేరిట 3000 కిలోమీటర్లు పాదయాత్ర చేసి చరిత్ర సృష్టించారు. ఇక 2014లో జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి ఎమ్మెల్యేగా ఎన్నికయ్యారు. ఇక అప్పటినుంచి ఆయన క్రియాశీల రాజకీయ నాయకుడిగా ఎదుగుతూ వచ్చారు. నమ్మిన సిద్దాంతాల కోసం పార్టీని విడిచి, తన తండ్రి పేరు మీద ‘వైఎస్‌ఆర్ యువజన శ్రామిక రైతు పార్టీ’ని స్థాపించాడు. పార్టీ స్థాపించిన టైంలో ఈయన ఒక్కడే కానీ ఈ రోజు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రానికి ముఖ్యమంత్రిగా ప్రమాణ స్వీకారం చేశారు. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రంలో ఎన్నో పథకాలను తీసుకువచ్చి ముందుకు సాగుతున్నారు. రాబోవు ఎన్నికల్లో కూడా ఎలాగైనా విజయం సాధించాలనే దిశగా అడుగులు వేస్తున్నారు. అలాంటి జగన్ మోహన్ రెడ్డి చిన్నప్పటి నుంచి సీఎం వరకు సాగిన జ్ఞాపకాల గురించి ఇప్పుడు చూడండి.
