Expats can travel without Civil IDs from Kuwait KUWAIT CITY, 7th June, 2020: Informed security sources revealed instructions were issued by the Ministry of Interior to allow expats who wish to leave the country to travel without using a civil ID, provided that their residency is valid, and that the Latin name in residence is matches to the name mentioned in their passport. The sources stated that the instructions comes within the framework to facilitate the expats who wish to travel and have valid residency and they followed the legal procedures in obtaining the civil card where they were not been able to obtain it due the closure of the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) due to ministerial decision in order to contain spread of coronavirus during the period.
