Spool Administration / Print Administration in SAP? iQ8

For Printer Configuration, we have to use Transaction Code (T-Code) SPAD in SAP Command Prompt Area.


1. Login to SAP


2. Click on SAP Command Prompt and type SPAD.


3. You will get the screen as below

4. Click on the Display under the Devices / servers Tab. 


5. Then Click on Change (Pencil Symbol) 


6. Then Click on New (7th symbol from left to right (white paper symbol).

7. Fill the all fields (highlighted) 

8. Click on Access Method Tab. 
And fill the below information in fields 
Output Device, Short Name
Host out put access method
Host Printer 


9. Click on Output Attributes Tab. 
And fill the below information in fields 

10.Click on Tray Info Tab.
And fill the below information in fields 
Select Tray


11. Save.


12. Done.
