Process To obtain No-Objection certificate from Kuwait Engineers Society (KES)

 

To obtain No-Objection certificate from Kuwait Engineers Society (KES)

1. Go in person to Kuwait Engineers Society
2. For those who have already registered but not renewed, pay KD 20 per year as renewal fees
3. KD 30 for NOC certificate

For those Engineers who are registering for first time following documents are required.
1. Original degree certificate & Marks list attested by University, Home country Foreign affairs and Embassy
2. Engineering society membership in home country
3. Civil ID and Passport and Work permit copies
4. 2 Photos
5. KD 60 (Membership fees and NOC certificate)

For those Engineers who are registering in the union for first time and not in custody of Engineers union membership in their home country or graduating university not certified or acknowledge by Kuwait Ministry of Higher Education following procedure and documents required.

3. KD 70 for Kuwait Engineers Society exams/test
4. KD 60 (Membership fees and NOC certificate)

First of all your college / university should be accredited by National Board of Accreditation ( NBA).
This can found online .

If the institution is recognized by NBA then take a printout of it. Next prepare copies of your 4 years mark sheets , degree certificate, college leaving certificate or transfer certificate, copy of passport , 2 passport size photographs and civil ID. Attach the print out highlighting your college / institution.

Take all the originals along and submit it at KSE. They will compare the orginals with photo copies and give you an application form, fill it up .

A file number will be issued and you will be asked to contact them after 15 days, by this time they would have verified your documents .

Once approved u would be asked to pay KD 50/ for interview. They will intimate you about the interview date via mobile usually a few days ahead.

You can either pay that amount in advance or on the day of the interview. After succeeding in interview , you will proceed to pay KD 30 for annual membership plus KD 30 for issue of No Objection Certificate NOC .

It usually takes about take two to three days to have it issued after payment is made. With NOC issued by Kuwait Society of Engineers along with its membership card u can get your residency renewed with ‘Engineer’ mentioned as profession on work permit.
