Kuwait City, 15th June 2022: Kuwait to expel 10 women over immorality Doorkeeper accused of covering up also faces deportation Ten expatriate women and a male doorkeeper will be deported from Kuwait after they were caught involved in immoral acts, a local newspaper has said. The vice squad arrested the women from different nationalities and an Asian keeper of a building covering them up during a raid in Hawalli governorate, Al Anba added, quoting the ministry said. The offenders will be deported. Earlier this week, Al Anba reported that instructions had been issued to the Kuwaiti Criminal Security Sector to firmly deal with prostitution offences and deport any expatriate doorman of a building where immoral acts are caught without the guard having earlier reported them to authorities. Kuwait City, 12th June 2022: Expatriates Protesters to be deport with Entry Ban to Kuwait   Expatriates, who organised protest march in Fahaheel, to be deport Instructions were issued to arrest deport all the expatriates, who took part in a protest at Fahaheel on Friday (10th June 2022) , local Arabic Media Al-Rai reported. According to Arabic media, number of Asian expatriates made a sit-in protest at Fahaheel after Friday prayers in support of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The sources confirmed that they will be deported from Kuwait as they violated the laws stipulates that sit-ins or demonstrations by expats are not to be organized in Kuwait. The video of the protest was widely circulated on social media and the detectives are in the process of arresting them and referring to the deportation center to be deported to their countries. The family includes - the father, mother and 4 children aged 7, 5 and 3 and an infant - were deported to Jordan as per Article 16 of the Foreigners #Residence Law, which grants the security services authority to deport an expat in the event there is no source of income. The Jordanian family suffered as a result of harsh economic conditions resulting from COVID-19 and both the man and his wife lost their jobs, leaving them without a source of livelihood or shelter. Kuwait City, 8th June 2022: #Kuwaiti woman jailed for 3 years over #Indian helper’s death Case dates back to 2020 when she was convicted of torturing maid to death A top court in Kuwait has revoked an earlier 10-year-jail term for a Kuwaiti woman and sentenced her instead to three years in prison on charges of torturing her Indian housemaid to death, a local newspaper has reported. The court had upheld a suspended one-year jail sentence to the defendant’s husband in the same case for failing to care for the victim in his capacity as her sponsor, Al Anba added. The case dates back to 2020 when both defendants were accused of human trafficking and abusing the housemaid by forcing her to work and confiscating her passport. The prime defendant was charged with fatally beating up the helper. Her lawyer said his client had been initially charged with premeditated murder, but investigations showed lack of evidence and that she did not intend to kill the housemaid.…

According to the global temperature index, Al Jahra posted the highest temperatures on earth on Sunday followed by Al Wafra city with 49.7 °C. Kuwait and parts of southern Iraq, in addition to eastern and northeastern Saudi Arabia, are currently affected by a very hot air mass, whose impact is expected to continue throughout the current week, accompanied by temperatures exceeding 50° C.
