How to share folders in Windows XP
Procedure:
1. Right click on the folder to be shared and select ‘Sharing and Security’.
2. Select the option ‘Share this folder’ and click on ‘Permissions’ to set the permissions.
3. Give the necessary permissions. If the folder is to be shared with specific users, then click on ‘Add’ to add the particular user.
4. Click on ‘Apply’ and ‘OK’ to save the settings.
5. The folder is now shared.
