Renewal Of Civil ID For Expatriates In Kuwait
A civil identity card or a civil ID card is also called Bataka – Al Madaniyah. A Civil ID card holds all personal information about the residents. Process to renew Civil-ID Card
Civil ID cards can now be renewed online, below are the steps and requirements to get your Civil ID card renewed without difficulty. Applicants must visit the Public Authority of Civil Information Headquarters, Zahra, Checkers’ Building, ground floor, Reception Hall to receive the new card. Document required is Old civil ID.
Procedures:
You can perform this service over the phone or online both
First: Over the Phone
Dial 1889988
Press (1) for Arabic and (2) for English
Choose the service number (1) from the voice list
Enter your old civil ID number and wait till your request is processed
Second: Online
Step 1:
Go to the PACI E-Envelope system website, if the website is in Arabic you can change the language to English.

Step 2:
Enter your Civil ID and serial no. which is shown on the back
Step 3:
You’ll have to verify your mobile no. so they’ll send you a verification SMS
Step 4:
Enter all data required (blood type is optional but if that needs changing too then you’ll need to also upload a lab report)
Step 5:
Upload the required documents
Step 6:
You’ll be sent an application’s reference number to your registered mobile number, which you can use to track your application’s progress
Step 7:
Process will take a few days as your application needs to be checked manually, once it’s approved you’ll be sent a link on your mobile to make the payment .
Step 8:
Receive your new card at the Public Authority of Civil Information Headquarters, Zahra, Checkers’ Building, ground floor, Reception Hall.
Pay the card acquisition fees, you have to pay FEE online PACI Website.
