This system, managed by the Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA), allows authorities to send critical public safety alerts directly to your screen. While some alert settings can be customized, primary high-level emergency alerts are mandatory and cannot be disabled, ensuring maximum public safety during critical situations.
Steps to Activate KWT-Alert on iPhone:
1. Update your iOS (26.4):
Go to Settings > General > Software Update and ensure you have installed the latest available version to enable regional alert compatibility.
2. Open Notifications: Return to the main Settings menu and tap on Notifications.
3. Locate Government Alerts:
Scroll to the bottom of the Notifications screen until you find the section labeled KWT-ALERT.
4. Enable All Toggles:
Turn ON the following options (they should appear green):
