The Director of Public Relations at the Federation of Kuwait Banks, Sheikha Al-Issa, announced that banks will be closed from
1st May, 2022 – Sunday as a day of rest,
2nd May, 2022 – Monday,
3rd May, 2022 – Tuesday, and
4th May, 2022 – Wednesday, until May 4, 2022, on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr festival.
Local banks are scheduled to open to the public on a limited scale on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at their respective headquarters and some of the main branches in all governorates, and they will open for usual business as of Sunday, May 8, 2022.
This is based on the circular issued by the Central Bank of Kuwait.
