💼 Job Description – IT Support Officer / IT Officer
We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on IT Support Officer — someone who enjoys solving problems, helping people, and keeping things running without drama.

A new student needs a biometric ID — today.

🛠 What You’ll Be Doing (Your Day-to-Day)
- Provide first-level IT support to teachers, staff, and administration
- Assist with student and staff biometric enrolment, updates, and troubleshooting
- Handle ID card printing, replacements, and access issues
- Support and maintain classroom technology —
smart boards, laptops, printers, projectors… the usual suspects - Help with network connectivity, system logins, and basic hardware/software issues
- Support online classes, digital platforms, and school exams
- Maintain IT inventory and asset records (yes, knowing where things are matters)
- Coordinate closely with the IT Manager for system updates and maintenance
- Most importantly…
Fix issues quickly, so teaching and learning can continue without disruption
🎓 Requirements – What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field
- 2–3 years of IT support experience (school experience is a big plus)
- Hands-on experience with biometric systems and ID card processes — or the willingness to learn fast
- Basic understanding of networks, hardware, and school technology systems
- Clear communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
- Calm under pressure. Friendly with people. Reliable every day.
