Quality Control Inspector- M1 Abrams, TrackLead in Kuwait.Conducts Initial, In-process, Final, and ValidationInspections on tracked vehicles.Essential Duties andResponsibilities:•Must be a U.S. person, able to passdeployment requirements and maintain eligibility to work inKuwait•Able possess a current United States Passport andable to obtain an NACI, able to gain access to United States andforeign military facilities or bases•Abrams Tank systemsmechanic, experienced and familiar with the Abrams M1A1 system,Hull & Turret- Fire Control & AGT 1500 TurbineEngine•Knowledge of, and able to read, interpret and applybest practices using military technical manuals, and all relationalpublications for Abrams M1A1 system, Hull & Turret- FireControl & AGT 1500 Turbine Engine within the scope of theArmy Maintenance doctrine.•Troubleshoot, diagnose andrepair Abrams M1A1 system, Hull & Turret- Fire Control& AGT 1500 Turbine Engine•Identify and adviseleadership regarding problems within technical areas asrequired•Ensure Supervisor/Manager is aware of criticalissues and able to make appropriate strategic decisions based oninformation supplied•Assist and provide guidance tomechanics in performing maintenance on vehicles andcomponents•Actively engage in promoting a workplace freefrom environmental, health and safety related hazards including thetraining and ensuring proper use of personal protectiveequipment•Maintains cross-talk with QA/CORrepresentatives.•Coordinates with Shop Supervisor whentechnical problems arise and in-depth mechanical knowledge isrequired.

•Cross trains when required to ensure maximumflexibility and possession of technical skills inthe•Performs all other position related duties as assignedor requested.Minimum RequirementsEducation: Documented High schooldiploma or equivalent requiredExperience:•Three (3)documented years or more of related work experience performingmaintenance on the Abrams M1A1 system, Hull & Turret- FireControl, AGT 1500 Turbine Engine•Two (2) documented yearsor more of quality control / inspection experiencerequired.Specialized Knowledge and Skills:•US ARMYexperience and certificate of training completing the Abrams M1A1system, Hull & Turret- Fire Control, AGT 1500 TurbineEngine maintainer s course preferred or OEM certificate oftraining•Excellent communication skills along withprofessional demeanor that extends to all levels of theorganization along with strong interpersonal skills and able tocoordinate and collaborate with other mechanics and supervision toensure processes are aligned•Must be a self-starter andcapable of working independently without directsupervision•Work without direct supervision, displayleadership qualities as well as the ability to articulatedirections and effectively train / mentors others•Musthave a valid State Driver’s License
