  Role summary: Act as a confidante and resource to the board and senior management; providing administrative support, advice and counsel on board responsibilities and logistics. Responsible for ensuring compliance with Corporate Governance.
Responsibilities:

• Manage all board and committee meeting logistics, attend and record minutes of all board and committee meetings; facilitate board communications.
• Advise the Board on its roles and responsibilities.
• Facilitate the orientation of new Directors and assist in Director training and development.
• Maintain key corporate documents and records.
• Responsible for corporate disclosure and compliance with country laws and regulatory bodies.
• Manage process pertaining to the annual shareholder meeting.
• Subsidiary management and governance.
• Monitor corporate governance developments and assist the Board in tailoring governance practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or Business.
• Knowledge of the local regulatory landscape.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience preferably within the financial services industry.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Strong writing skills and communication skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of corporate governance principles and practices, CMA regulations and other relevant regulations issued by CBK/CMA.
• Strong work ethics and confidentiality.
