Our client who are a promising e-commerce solution for fresh foods and FMCG ordering and delivery are currently looking for a Logistics Supervisor.About the Role
The primary function of this role is to ensure effective and efficient movement of goods in and out of the warehouse to designated locations and as per approved plans.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Effectively coordinate with the Warehouse Supervisor and Dispatcher to move goods to and from respective locations / customer.
• Follow-up with Warehouse Supervisor & Dispatcher to ensure timely release of goods from the port of arrival and arrival at the designated warehouse.
• Ensure that for all imports moving into the Warehouse, appropriate documentation such as the clearance certificate from Ministry of Health etc. is valid and available.
• Monitor the tallying of goods received with purchase order and reconciliation of any discrepancies and notification to the Manager or respective party of the receipt of goods.
• Ensure availability of sufficient resources (e.g. labor, drivers) to carry out the day-to-day operations of logistics and prepare daily shift rosters for the staff.
• Effectively communicates necessary information and status updates to the manager.
• Prioritizes work and allocates resources to meet changing customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Quality Control to ensure vans are meeting standard operating procedures and policies, such as temperatures, humidity, sanitation standards, etc.

About You
Ideally accepts candidates with:

• High School Diploma or College Degree. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Demonstrable experience in a supervisory capacity in logistics/shipping, preferably for consumer packaged goods.
• Extensive experience in fleet management.
• Computer literate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Well versed with applicable laws, and storage health and safety standards.
• Valid Kuwaiti Driver’s License.
