Underwriting Support Officer

Job Summary
The role requires the agent to carry out the day-to-day issuances of policies (All lines) in accordance with instruction from Underwriter / Manager as per express or implied policies, processes and procedures of the company; using information and knowledge of market practices or be trained upon in doing such tasks.
Job Responsibilities
- Issue quotations as per clear instructions from Underwriters
โขLiaise with customers and inter-departments to satisfy the procedural checks in relation to policy issuance
โขTake in advance monthly renewal reports and seek Underwriting opinions on the same
โขAble to give suggestions on a mediocre basis to Underwriters in order to learn the trade
โขIndependently handle with responsibility the line of business, primarily for ย the captive needs
โขHandle walk in and email customer queries on in house products
โขSelf-development towards next level through close analysis of underwriter jobs, independent assessment and suggestion
โขBe in charge of year ending stock adjustments and policy adjustment for both Internal and external customer โ Independent management
โขReview account performance, claims information and payment history client wise
โขImport and sort various reports as and when called for by the management
โขAble to reply to re-insurer queries in support with Underwriters
โขEvaluates client documents, order the risk to be ready for Underwriter assessment
โขHandle customer inquiries.
โขBe first in charge of all renewals including but not limited to creation of renewal list, preparation of notices and full follow up with reasons as to non-conversions as and when called for
โขBe in a position to suggest leads for new businesses
โขCoordinating with claims, IT and finance department
โขHave a general idea about underwriting changes in the market
โขLearn new products within or outside the same line
โขCreate and manage a proper documentation, both soft and hardcopies without errors and omissions of important communication
โขError free document issuance
โขAssist system development with IT to create a seamless automation process of all products
Candidate Requirements
- High School Diploma. ย University degree preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of related underwriting experience would be preferred. Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
- Proficient with Microsoft Application

JOB SUMMARY:
We are recruiting Sr. Purchasing Engineers for KIRBY for both UAE and Kuwait.
The senior purchase engineer is responsible for the vendor selection and development of local and international suppliers; negotiation and execution of supply contracts.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Ensure all procurement activities are carried out in accordance with the established company procedures.
- Conduct technical review of requirements from Engineering/Operations.
- Prepare RFQ (request for quotation) document and send it to Suppliers/Vendors. Evaluate the quotations received from Suppliers/Vendors to determine the best Supplier/Vendor meeting price, delivery, and quality requirements.
- Conduct negotiation with Suppliers/Vendors for assigned products and services
- Conduct Supplier/Vendor evaluation after a PO is complete.
- Develop new sources to meet companyโs evolving business needs
- Prepare reports for the management as and when required
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPEREIENCE:
- Minimum of Five or more years of experience working in a purchasing function out of which at least 2 years should be in PEB industry
- Bachelors in Engineering is a must with Major in either Civil/Structural/Mechanical or Industrial

Job Summary
Ensures effective collection follow-up on Normal portfolio and timely collection of ย receivables.
Job Responsibilities
1. ย ย ย ย Make daily telephone calls to overdue customers
2. ย ย ย ย Request Team Leader to SMS as may be required time to time
3. ย ย ย ย Highlight issues to Team Leader to resolve issues
4. ย ย ย ย Make field visit to deliver warning letter to customer home or work place
5. ย ย ย ย Send Faxes to customer work place
6. ย ย ย ย Make follow-up notes on customer payment
7. ย ย ย ย Response to customer query
8. ย ย ย ย Get new customer contact data through various search and give it to Team Leader for update in system
9. ย ย ย ย Maintain confidentiality of customer database
10. ย ย Daily communication with our customers in all categories.
11. ย ย Identify skipper cases and share the details to Team Leader
12. ย ย Make a daily update to see which customers have been paid
13.ย ย ย Broadcast the positive spirit among team members
14. ย Work and prepare all the collection and follow-up customers
Candidate Requirements
Good team player
Familiar with kuwait places to help in warning letter
Skills of research and investigate and should be easy to find any person live in Kuwait.
Able to work under pressure.
Good negotiation or communication skills with different Customers
