Job Summary

To handle the procurement activities to meet Project needs, according to Company policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

•    The ability to review / assess technical Specification, BOQ (Bill Of Quantity) and Drawings to determine suitable vendors and suppliers.
•    The ability to prepare inquiry documents about commercial standards, technical specifications, BOQ’s and Drawings, as per Company requirements.
•    Responsible for obtaining quotations through conventional practices (emails) and E-Procurement (online Bidding)
•    To review vendors and suppliers quotations to determine best price and delivery date.
•    To review quotations of identified technical and commercial specifications received from the vendors and suppliers.
•    To prepare & issue purchase orders in accordance with selected suppliers, price, technical specifications and end user approval
•    Responsible for investigating qualitative and quantitative discrepancies between goods ordered and goods received.
•    The ability to assess, analyse, and compare bids, and quotations.
•    The ability to generate reports upon request.
•    The ability to follow and achieve the key performance metrics and benchmarks decided by management
•    The ability to create and follow a Project procurement Plan to fulfil the project requirement and meet the project delivery date.
•    Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements

Candidate Requirements

•    Minimum of 5 to 7 years experience within a procurement/purchase department
•    Should have relevant experience in Fit-out/Facilities projects and its commercial terms & conditions
•    Must be knowledgeable in Local and International Purchasing
•    Proficient computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook)
•    Fluency in written and spoken English Language
•    Excellent communication & negotiation skills
•    Must be knowledgeable in planning and forecasting systems.
•    Has understanding of integrated supply chain concepts.

Education:
•    A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

Sr. Accountant

Long Description

Job Summary

A Sr. Accountant-GL Role is responsible for GL accounting for F&B Business. The jobholder will supporting the monthly closing activities with reviewing the numbers before freezing the monthly trial balance, working in line with other accounting team members and involve in preparing the monthly Schedules to review the balance sheet monthly and make it clear.

To Involve in preparing Audited financial statements and to co-ordinate with statutory audit for smooth year-end closing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Handling GL Accounting and passing a lot of entries on SAP either daily or monthly along with other team members including (Prepayments, Royalties, other provisions, etc..)
  • Control the daily accounting of invoices, reviewing and passing the entries on SAP.
  • Preparing the schedules and review the numbers, clearing the accounts and knocking-off, reviewing the accruals/prepayments and matching with the actuals or reversing.
  • Provide support in the development of all necessary financial accounting and in carrying out reconciliations to ensure the production of accurate financial records and information.
  • Carry out reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to ensure that all accounting records are accurate.
  • Updating the monthly closing checklist (Provisions, Prepayments, Depreciation run, Delivery commission, etc.
  • Prepare monthly F&B accounts to produce timely and accurate management information.
  • Follow-up for pending activities, reviewing the numbers before sharing the trial balance with finance team. involve on ICP, trial balance and Management and adjustment to SAP reporting system.
  • Coordinate with other team members outside Kuwait for any activities related to accounting on SAP & Maintain ledgers as required
  • Input data into the system and produce reports for management information and for completion of returns required by Management.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office
  • SAP Knowledge is preferable.
  • Flexibility to travel to different store locations/countries, as required.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Kuwaiti Nationality is preferred.

HR Associate – Payroll

Job Summary

The Payroll Associate will be responsible for maintenance and support of payroll activities within Alghanim Industries
Individuals working in this team need to have a high degree of customer focus, be flexible, enjoy working in a team environment and have a high level of attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities

1.    Validation of separation action in system with the documents and validate different components of calculation.
2.    Validation of all recurring payments in system such as car subsidy, HRA and MGRP of Kuwaiti employees.
3.    Run off cycle payroll for the leave salaries during the month.
4.    Validation of monthly overtime, incentive, and other payments before running the payroll
5.    Familiar with uploading employee payment information in system (New Labor accounts) monthly.
6.    System data integration monitoring to ensure smooth payroll run.
7.    Headcount validation before monthly payroll
8.    Pay results validation for all business for monthly payroll and do the correction if it requires.
9.    Monthly bank file generation – Executing Pre-DME, DME, to generate the salary files for all the banks and validate with pay register to ensure accuracy.
10.    Upload monthly cash salaries in system and disbursement to business units.
11.    Closely work with system consultant for any changes as and when required in the existing process or new business setups are required. End to end testing of all the scenarios before moving to production for any changes.
12.    Review system process with Business HR partners on a quarterly basis to understand new requirements and change an existing process.

Candidate Requirements

1.    A minimum of 4-6 years professional experience working on ERP Payroll systems
2.    Educated to university degree level, preferably from a business-related program, HR qualifications preferred but not essential.
3.    High level of attention to detail ensuring data is accurate and precise.
4.    The successful candidate will have access to sensitive information, so a high degree of confidentiality is required.
5.    Strong communication and customer facing skills, able to respond appropriately to employee queries.  Arabic language skill is mandatory.
6.    A high degree of energy, enthusiasm, and flexibility
7.    Highly organized and able to plan work and manage priorities
8.    Well versed with Kuwait Labor law.
