In 1963, Dar Al Shifa Hospital (DASH) was established as the first private hospital in the State of Kuwait. In fact, it was a maternity hospital located in Sharjah, Kuwait. Since then, the hospital has become a leading healthcare institution in the region.

In 1992, Shri. DASH, owned by Ali Xerox, has gone through a remarkable expansion. As a result, DASH has evolved into a full-fledged general hospital with extensive services.

In 2003, various factors contributed to the hospital’s growing reputation, continued investment in the workforce, and the adoption of state – of – the – art technology. This change in location led to an increase in inpatient beds and outpatient clinics, which eventually increased its capacity to cater to a wider segment of the population.

The hospital has 130 approved inpatient facilities, including inpatient rooms (Imperial, Royal, Junior, Standard), labor rooms, neonatal units, intensive care units, operating theaters, emergency room, cardiac catheterization laboratory, and outpatient clinics.
