Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

•    Shift management of inbound / outbound operations.
•    Ensure inbound inventory is captured on  the system prior on offloading items in the warehouse
•    Ensure  for each, every, SKU offloaded has scannable barcodes
•    Carry out full inspection audits for packaging and labeling quality of offloaded items
•    Maintain and organize daily shift rota of personnel
•    Responsible in planning the resource used in offloading & putaway
•    Recheck if offloaded items  are placed on the correct pallet type
•    Check and support management in achieving daily targets set by BU
•    Recommends any improvements to the management to meet standard KPI
•    Provide reports set by management for daily review of Warehouse activities
•    Participation in internal /external reviews as required
•    Responsible to ensure all personnel under him has proper Sap training
•    Recommends for promotion and training of personnel
•    Lead by example on Health & Safety behavior – enforcing good practice amongst team leaders and operations staff.
•    Support Management in reduction of  operational costs against agreed forecasts & budgets
•    Ensure that containers offloaded as per target daily
•    Responsible to team container assignment as per manpower capacity
•    Report any discrepancies received on containers offloaded (damages / Shortages / Excess)
•    Ensure that pending putaway on floor will be prioritized in binning
•    Closely coordinate with Fleet Supervisor for container status to ensure offloading will not be delayed
•    Coordinate /Monitor materials required for offloading (pallets , shrink wraps, etc)
•    Ensure lag time is not more than 24 hours unless approved by management
•    Ensure no hanging Outbulk on system unless approved by Management
•    Provides feedback for Inbound improvements
•    Closely coordinate with Manager on floor situation – pending putaway, backlog in offloading
•    Responsible in planning leave/ compensatory off of personnel and submit for approval to Manager

Candidate Requirements

Potentials / Skills:

Technical
•    Experience of managing inbound warehouse activities
•    User knowledge of warehouse management systems and MHE capabilities.
•    Highly PC Literate (MS Office applications)
•    Thorough understanding of KPI reporting and control procedures

HR Officer – Payroll

Job Summary

The Payroll Officer will be responsible for maintenance and support of payroll activities within Alghanim Industries

Job Responsibilities

•    Administration and record keeping of attendance/leaves (all kinds), Over Time, bonuses, etc.
•    Familiarity with Kuwaiti labor regulations and PISS requirements.
•    Checks pay results for accuracy of payroll runs.
•    Familiar with Bank processes for opening labor bank accounts.
•    Responsible for the proper entry, storage, update and security of employee personal data, updating personnel files and employee status changes.
•    Manage the filling process of different documents.

Candidate Requirements

•    A minimum of 3 year professional experience working on ERP Payroll systems.

•    The successful candidate will have access to sensitive information so a high degree of confidentiality is required.
•    Strong communication and customer facing skills, able to respond appropriately to employee queries.  Arabic language skills would be an advantage.

Procurement Officer

Job Summary

Jobs at this level are responsible for working closely with the marketing teams within Automotive group, analyzing the stock levels, consolidating requirements, conducting bids on Ariba, negotiating with suppliers, following up on receiving items and handling claims against suppliers. Work is done under intermittent supervision.

Job Responsibilities

•    Adheres to all processes and procedures set
•    Reviews incoming requirements from marketing teams of the automotive group and ensure the correct and quality parts are available when needed.
•    Work closely with marketing teams and clearly establish detailed specifications of the items to be procured.
•    Enter details into the Ariba system and create an event for suppliers to participate and bid.
•    Ensure the participating suppliers are clearly aware of the specs, lead time and payment terms plus other terms and conditions to avoid any conflicting issues at later stages.
•    Maintains data to facilitate good forecasting and reasonable inventory levels.
•    Create & scope of all the necessary purchases by each brand and this needs to be regularly reviewed and updated
•    Initiate and participate in Inventory audit process. Follows-up and closes audit findings and manage document filing.
•    Reviews sales and stock levels on an item-by-item basis and report details for management analysis.
•    Assists in forecasting the periodical demand on items.
•    Ensures maintenance of stock levels by re-ordering stock when necessary – i.e. place order, receive suppliers confirmation and make firm purchase order.
•    Checks and process suppliers’ claims and follow-up by prompt settlements of bills.
•    Maintains all confidential matters related to costs, suppliers, prices and rebates.
•    Updates MIS with suppliers’ invoices / orders and originate part numbers for new products.
•    Raises claims against suppliers/ insurance for shortages and excesses, defective and damaged goods

Candidate Requirements

•    Bachelor Degree in a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in hands on Analytics, dash-boarding, querying
  • Strong Analytical skills – has ability to start from ambiguous problem statements, identify and access relevant data, make appropriate assumptions, perform insightful analysis and draw conclusion relevant to the business problem.
  • Knowledge of retail and finance is an added advantage
  • Extensive experience using SQL Queries and Data visualization / reporting tools
  • Adept in understanding the data structure, flow and optimizing the existing queries
