Job Description:
Kuwait Airways (KU: IATA, KAC: ICAO) is the official national carrier of the State of Kuwait.
Established in 1953 as a private company, the airline was initially 50 per cent owned by the Kuwaiti government. In 1962, the government assumed 100 per cent ownership, making it the longest serving, official state carrier operating from the Arabian Gulf Region. Kuwait Airways employs over 4,800 people, and the head office is in the heart of Kuwait City, close to Kuwait International Airport (KWI). Kuwait Airways is recruiting for the role of Sr. Accounts officer. In this role, your tasks will include but not be limited to:

- Managing invoicing, liaising with agents / customers for various revenue activities
- Monitoring debtors ageing and timely follow up with recovery of dues.
- Bank reconciliation and coordinating with Bank representatives regarding deposit of agent cheques.
- Candidate will be reporting to Accounts Manager Germany.
Requirement:
-
- Accounting Diploma or Degree in Finance or Accounting Discipline or equivalent.
- At least 3 to 4 years distinct working experience in the accounting field.
- Airline experience will have preference.
- Candidate should have exposure to payables / receivables accounting (candidates with airline experience will have preference)
- Knowledge of local taxes / VAT / APD etc. is advantageous.
Skills:
- Proficient Microsoft office specifically Excel.
- Candidate should have proficiency in local language (both written and oral) and any proficiency in English communication will be treated as an added advantage.

We Are Hiring – Junior Accountant (Kuwait Only) 💼
A reputable company in Kuwait is seeking an experienced Junior Accountant. Only candidates currently residing in Kuwait with a transferable visa (18 Ahli) are eligible.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and record daily financial transactions into ledgers and accounting software
- Assist with preparing and processing payroll
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Help prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
- Provide assistance during internal and external audits
- Support senior accounting staff with various tasks as needed
🔹 Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in English; working knowledge of Arabic preferred
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Local candidates only (inside Kuwait)
- Transferable visa (18 articles) required
- Ready to join immediately
