Job Description: 

Kuwait Airways (KU: IATA, KAC: ICAO) is the official national carrier of the State of Kuwait.
Established in 1953 as a private company, the airline was initially 50 per cent owned by the Kuwaiti government. In 1962, the government assumed 100 per cent ownership, making it the longest serving, official state carrier operating from the Arabian Gulf Region.  Kuwait Airways employs over 5,800 people, and the head office is in the heart of Kuwait City, close to Kuwait International Airport (KWI). Kuwait Airways is recruiting for the role of Corporate Governance Specialist. In this role, your tasks will include but not be limited to: 

• Dealing with correspondence and administrative matters from external service providers. Assist with file reviews of In House entities. Provide full board support to In House entities including creation of agendas, collation and distribution of board packs and liaising with relevant business directors, management of board meetings including, producing detailed board minutes, distribution of board minutes, arranging for signature and carrying out any post-meeting actions as required. 
• Maintenance of the due diligence documentation on existing directors and shareholders of In House entities and obtaining due diligence documentation in respect of new directors and shareholders.
• Assisting with filings or notifications to the relevant regulatory authorities including ensuring that corporate records are updated as appropriate. Assisting with the documenting and implementing of policies and procedures.
• Assisting the team with team-specific reporting on business service levels; and Such other duties as the firm may reasonably require from time to time.

Requirement: 

• Bachelor degree from a recognized University.
• 5 years’ experience in Corporate Governance and activities.

Skills: 

Good knowledge of English and Arabic.
