Position:
Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor
Salary:
550 KD Basic Salary + 20 accommodation allowances +15 Food Allowances (Free Local transportation will be provided)

with Maintenance Exposure with Petroleum /Petrochemical Plants & Oil &
GAS Refineries will be perfect match for this role
Qualification & Experience
A. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering discipline.
B. Equivalent to HND / HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
C. Eight (8) years experience in the maintenance of stationery equipment as specified in 2 (c) with at
least five (5) years in the supervisory position.
D. Read, write and speak in English fluently.
E. Excellent knowledge in use of computers and related software (MS-Office..etc).\
F. Shall be well aware of basic refinery safety aspects and use of Personal Protective Equipment.
Job responsibilities
A. Planes daily workload of all maintenance personnel in his area as needed.
B. Assist in establishing the work schedules in his area.
C. Performs Maintenance works in Gas Plants, Refineries and/or chemical plants and have adequate
experience in the repair and maintenance of Refinery, Gas Processing and Refrigerated L.P.G.
Equipment such as steam boilers, heat exchangers, vessels, towers, direct fired heaters, tanks and
associated piping of all the above equipment, Have skills of Bolt tensioning and torquinq using
Hydraulic / pneumatic bolt torquing / tensioner machine.
D. Have skill to disassemble and reassemble machinery in accordance with specifications.
E. Should be capable of read & understand the engineering drawings and execute the work accordingly.
F. Have capability to direct several people working on different jobs in the area.
G. Be able to decide on the necessity to repair or replace parts.
H. Capable of group communications to direct and co-ordinate work.
I. Possess analytical capability.

Instrument Engineer – Maintenance

Job Description:
The Instrument Engineer – Maintenance will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced process control and safety instrumentation systems within the refinery. The role demands strong technical knowledge, leadership capability, and hands-on experience in complex refinery operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize Process Control Instrumentation Systems
- Handle DCS, ESD, and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) in refinery units
- Ensure fault-free operation of Fault Tolerant ESD systems
- Manage Custody Transfer Systems, Tank Gauging, and Blending Systems
- Diagnose and resolve PLC-related issues, especially Allen Bradley PLCs
- Monitor and maintain vibration monitoring systems using Bentley Nevada
- Support shutdowns, turnarounds, and emergency maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with KNPC safety standards and international codes
Experience Required:
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Process Control Instrumentation
- Strong background in Oil & Gas / Hydrocarbon Refinery operations
Qualification:
- Engineering Graduate in Chemical / Electrical / Electronics & Communication / Instrumentation Engineering
🔩 Foreman – Instrument Maintenance
Vacancies: 10 Positions
Job Description:
The Foreman – Instrument Maintenance will lead and execute day-to-day maintenance activities for field instruments and control systems. This role requires strong supervisory skills, technical knowledge, and hands-on experience in refinery or process plant environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of field instruments
- Perform calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of process instruments
- Handle instrumentation from field level up to DCS interface
- Support commissioning, shutdown, and turnaround activities
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and calibration documentation
- Ensure safe work practices in line with KNPC HSE requirements
- Coordinate with engineers and operations teams for smooth plant operation
Experience Required:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Instrument Maintenance
- Experience in Refinery / Petrochemical / Fertilizer Plants
Qualification:
- 3-Year Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering
Preferred Skills:
- Practical experience with Honeywell DCS systems
- Strong knowledge of process instrumentation and control loops
