Summary
The Account Manager & Associate HC Consultant is responsible to achieve Sales targets and provide the best possible configuration to a customer, working in a tender team taking into account the several stakeholders concerned with a project. The role is part of the team that sets up the total workflow on the configuration. After implementation responsible for the performance check, also to be performed on a regular basis.
Your Responsibilities
Sales
- Promotes the assigned product portfolio in line with the strategy
- Implements the activities and strategies defined, to achieve the sales targets gain market share and meet the related strategic KPIs
- Identifies new opportunities within existing clients to do the channel-fill with the assigned high medical value tests
- Collaborates with the local Sales teams on product presentations, high level knowledge transfer and negotiations, whenever such involves the assigned product portfolio
- Identifies new opportunities on the assigned products, driving market introduction and adoption by the Labs, in order to expand the business.
- Ensures ongoing interaction and communication with customers, coordinating the market visits with the local Sales team
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge on the product portfolio and indications assigned, proactively searching for market information, scientific updates, competitive developments, and transferring them to the Sales teams, in alignment with Marketing.
- Ensures activity planning/reporting and opportunity mapping at the CRM software (sales force), keeping data Updated, and ensure that all administration is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Pre-sales technical consultancy
- Meet with customers to find out the requirements for the configuration
- Challenge customers on their current workflow and set up a new workflow
- Work in a tender team to propose the most efficient configuration and the total workflow on the systems
- Perform simulations to show the proposed outcome in TAT with the new configuration
- Report the simulation results in a clear way, with clear benefits for the customer
- Make the best fit lay out for the customer, taking into account the requirements for the systems and a Lean way of working in the laboratory
- Explain the benefits of the new configuration to the customer in a clear way, presenting and/or reporting on paper
- Translate the benefits into financial benefits for the customer
- Perform a base line analysis of the current process. Use measurements that can show the improvement after implementation
Implementation phase technical consultancy
- Discuss the implementation and contingency plan with the customer
- Support the plan with visuals
- Work together with application, IT and the customer to finalize the total workflow on the systems
- Order the systems
Post Implementation technical consultancy
- To do a performance check after the initial routine phase. Compare the results with the baseline analysis and formulate clearly the benefits for the customer.
- Report back to the customer written and oral
External and Internal Collaboration
- Collaborate in the tender and implementation teams in a constructive way. Understand the different points of view of different stakeholders and create a solution to the best customer satisfaction possible
- Take active part in the RDME consultancy network as well as the international consultancy network
- Represent the company, develop and maintain enduring, value-driven relationships with stakeholders (customers, suppliers, other companies)
- Ensure a close working partnership with the customers and provide responsive and quality support as required
- Engender a philosophy of teamwork within RDME as a whole and country organizations, and be an integral part of this
- Ensure horizontal and vertical information flow, co-operate with other departments and search common solutions in order to increase customer satisfaction and optimize internal procedures
Compliance
You are expected to adhere through your conduct to all applicable laws and regulations as well as to the high integrity standards as set forth by Roche
Who You Are
- You hold a University degree in (preferably) Life Sciences. Ideal candidate also have completed the Roche Diagnostics Middle East Technical Consultancy training and lean training
- You have at least 5 years of work experience in sales in the Healthcare market (IVD preferred), with a proven success record. Experience in Clinical/Medical Laboratories (Diagnostics industry) will be preferred
- You are result driven and focused on achieving your Sales targets
- You have strong interpersonal interaction and customer relations skills both internally and externally
- You are proactive and able to work both independently or in a team
- You have strong communications and presentation skills
- You are autonomous and self-motivated to travel for business meetings and product trainings
- You have proven work experience with different software, including Excel
- You are willing to travel 80 – 90% of the time throughout Kuwait
SCM Order Operations Specialist (Kuwait)

Summary
The SCM Order Operations Specialist ensures that all customer demands are met and that orders are placed in a timely manner, and works closely with other departments to make sure that deliveries and invoicing is done to meet the OTIF (On Time in Full Performance).
Your Responsibilities
Order / Delivery Management:
- Customer Order Fulfillment in collaboration with the different shipping points
- Order Receipt and validation (i.e. pricing)
- Order input into SAP in a timely manner
- Issue order confirmations, delivery advice and invoices
- Assist in obtaining required delivery documents
- Coordinate delivery with the 3PL and the customer
Customer Master Data administration
Administer the customer Master Data as basis for the Order Fulfillment (for drop-shipments in coordination with Germany and Switzerland).
Order receipt and validation
Receive and check incoming orders for completeness, correct prices and delivery requirements. Coordinate with customer and/or Sales department
Order input into SAP
Process the customer order in SAP
Issue order confirmations, delivery advice and invoices
Based on the customers’ requirements issue order confirmations and delivery advice. Issue invoices based on delivery and destination country needs
Assist in obtaining required delivery documents
Obtain the required destination clearance documents in coordination with the 3PL and/or Germany and Switzerland as well as the needed external partners (i.e. chamber of commerce)
Coordinate delivery with 3PL and the customer
Coordinate the delivery in regards to the goods movement, and the clearing documents
System process tests
Coordinating new requirements and developments for SAP SD with the IT-dept. followed by process tests in SAP enabling smooth go-live of new developments (usually done with 2-3 Business Releases per year)
Claims Handling
Ensuring all claims are captured and resolved in a timely manner on both SAP & Rexis
Backorder Cleansing
Ensuring that there are no back orders
OTIF
Work along with other departments to make sure goods are delivered on time and in full to the customer
Packed Not Shipped
Keep a close eye on the packed not shipped and ensure all deliveries are dispatched in a timely manner
IDOC Monitoring
Make sure that IDOCs are minimal and not aged to avoid delays in fulfilling customer orders
Compliance
- You are expected to adhere through your conduct to all applicable laws and regulations as well as to the high integrity standards as set forth by Roche
- Liaise with global functions in all order handling related topics
- Build relationship with customers and countries
Who You Are
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related
- You have at least 1 – 3 years of relevant work experience in the Pharmaceutical or Diagnostics industry
- You have built the experience in order handling, and temperature controlled Supply Chain
- You have built the experience in working with SAP (SD module)
- You have working knowledge of Letters of Credit
- You are strong in coordinating with internal and external partners (Sales department, Germany, Roche Switzerland, and 3PL)
- You have strong communications skills
- You are an open and service minded professional, and a strong team player
- You are fluent in English. Speaking Arabic will be preferred
- You have good knowledge of Excel
