QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree, preferably with 1-2 years of experience in research and analysis for business decision making.
Excellent analytical, conceptual and quantitative problem solving skills; ability to dis aggregate issues, prioritize effectively, identify root causes and recommend solutions
Demonstrated passion for applying research and analytical approaches to business problem solving
Strong understanding of research and data analysis techniques
Exposure to programming languages (Python, R) would be a plus
Entrepreneurial drive to build and innovate, especially in the context of deep content expertise and proprietary knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Strong interpersonal skills; good team player
Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll join our Middle East Knowledge Hub and will be based out of our Kuwait office, working closely with McKinsey consulting teams serving our clients across the Middle East.

Our knowledge hub is part of our global knowledge network comprising 2000+ knowledge professionals with deep specialization across industries and functions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’ll serve clients through the development of content expertise – assets, knowledge, tools – and deliver that expertise as part of client engagements.

In conjunction with other experts, you’ll solve client problems in your area of expertise and will work on client engagements in a number of ways. This could mean driving a work stream in your area of expertise or providing short-term support to deliver important insights on content-focused questions. You’ll play the role of a sparring partner to help define knowledge needs, conduct extensive research and drive analyses to provide unique insights.

Additionally, you’ll support the development and maintenance of proprietary knowledge capabilities, econometric models, etc. You’ll also actively contribute to client development initiatives and proposals by owning content and analysis relevant to your expertise.
