Risk Management & Controls Analyst

Job Summary

The RMC Analyst designs/improves processes, identifies/assesses underlying risks, and recommends actions to manage/mitigate operational risks.

Job Responsibilities

•• Support all business initiatives, partnerships, new revenue streams, and automations.
• Ensure proper documentation and approval of key business processes, promotions, and policies through creation of SOPs. Regularly monitor operational adherence to SOPs and policies.
• Keep all policies and procedures updated to align with changing business environments.
• Identify, document, and communicate key risks and system gaps to Management periodically.
• Devise action plans to mitigate identified risks through automation or changes in manual processes, ensuring duty segregation and access management.
• Create custom reports in Alteryx and SAP Business Intelligence, review financial data and other operational information to spot irregularities.
• Supervise Retail Stores audit function, ensuring timely audits and analyzing operational risks by discussing with stakeholders.
• Draft and present store audit reports outlining findings, risks, and recommended solutions.
• Act as a liaison between operations and IT teams to evaluate business process/system changes from a risk/control perspective.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, or Corporate Governance, preferably in professional services, and experience in process and compliance framework creation.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Professional certification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, attention-to-detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with SAP or similar ERP and BI tools such as Alteryx, Power BI etc. is preferred.

Job Summary

To assist customers by enhancing and promoting sales of products and services in the showroom. The job role focuses on obtaining the knowledge and skills to identify and fulfil customer needs, and direct sales transactions to achieve overall sales targets in cash, credit, warranty programs and accessories.

Job Responsibilities

Sales

  • Promotes products and services to customers
  • Maximizes sales transactions to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Strives to achieve pre-set sales targets in cash, credit, warranties and accessories
  • Seeks to improve and enhance his/her level of product knowledge
  • Ensuring sales opportunities are constantly converted to sales transactions
  • Creating sales invoices and mastering BO & POS applications.

Customer Service

  • Demonstrate presentable appearance, and a pleasant smiley face
  • Provide high level of service to all customers
  • Being constantly aware of customer needs

Sr. Accountant

Job Summary

A Sr. Accountant-GL Role is responsible for GL accounting for F&B Business. The jobholder will supporting the monthly closing activities with reviewing the numbers before freezing the monthly trial balance, working in line with other accounting team members and involve in preparing the monthly Schedules to review the balance sheet monthly and make it clear.

To Involve in preparing Audited financial statements and to co-ordinate with statutory audit for smooth year-end closing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Handling GL Accounting and passing a lot of entries on SAP either daily or monthly along with other team members including (Prepayments, Royalties, other provisions, etc..)
  • Control the daily accounting of invoices, reviewing and passing the entries on SAP.
  • Preparing the schedules and review the numbers, clearing the accounts and knocking-off, reviewing the accruals/prepayments and matching with the actuals or reversing.
  • Provide support in the development of all necessary financial accounting and in carrying out reconciliations to ensure the production of accurate financial records and information.
  • Carry out reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to ensure that all accounting records are accurate.
  • Updating the monthly closing checklist (Provisions, Prepayments, Depreciation run, Delivery commission, etc.
  • Prepare monthly F&B accounts to produce timely and accurate management information.
  • Follow-up for pending activities, reviewing the numbers before sharing the trial balance with finance team. involve on ICP, trial balance and Management and adjustment to SAP reporting system.
  • Coordinate with other team members outside Kuwait for any activities related to accounting on SAP & Maintain ledgers as required
  • Input data into the system and produce reports for management information and for completion of returns required by Management.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office
  • SAP Knowledge is preferable.
  • Flexibility to travel to different store locations/countries, as required.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Kuwaiti Nationality is preferred.
