Senior Manager Catering Operations
We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Senior Manager Catering Operations to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of catering operations and related services for Jazeera to join our Marketing team.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Management of the Jazeera Catering Facility operations.
- Lead team at Catering Facility to ensure smooth running of delivery of food and non-food supplies to facility and correct preparation and loading to flights.
- Produce and maintain Catering Operations Process & Procedures Manual to meet safety and operational standards.
- Organize staff rotas to ensure on-time performance to meet departure flight schedules.
- Provide galley loading plans and trolley packing plans for all in-flight products for sale.
- Manage vendor relationships, select products for sale on-board, assess sales potential for new products for J9 Shop on-board including duty free products, negotiate pricing and manage contract process.
- Manage relationship with major food suppliers, select and review options for J Café in-flight menu and maintain quality of product.
- Provide management with annual business plans for Catering and On-Board Retail Sales with financial projections and monthly reports.
- Set prices for on-board food and non-food sales, and work with Marketing to produce menu content for inflight magazine.
- Manage crew meals – menus and supply for all flights.
- Liaise with Cabin Services management to receive feedback from passengers and crew on food quality and quantity.
- Study Customer Satisfaction Survey for feedback on catering and retail services and act on any issues.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders from Ground Operations, Marketing, Finance & Flight Operations.
- Manage supplier contracts and ensure approval by the contract committee.
- Create business cases for all new projects.

HR Operations Officer
We are looking for a HR Operations Officer who will provides administrative support to Human Resources department including but not limited to Employee Profile creating, onboarding and off-boarding, upkeep of HR files, time & attendance and payroll.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Enter new employees and update information on the HR system.
- Ensure joining formalities are arranged including staff ID cards and email creation.
- Ensure that bank information for new and existing employees is up to date.
- Data management of new, existing and exit employee files (digital & physical) and ensure conformity with the employee checklist.
- Manage end-to-end Exit process for employees.
- Provide orientation and guidance on the use of employee self-services portal of the HR system application.
- Assist in the monthly payroll process to ensure all HR transactions are added to the system.
- Retrieve & compare attendance records with leave records on a weekly basis and highlight any discrepancies if found in the records.
- Prepare HR letters such as Experience and Miscellaneous Letters.
- Respond to internal and external HR queries wherever possible.
- Participate in HR projects.
- Prepare contracts and provide support in the onboarding process.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- 1-3 years of experience relevant in HR with knowledge of payroll processes.
- Knowledge of Kuwaiti Labor Law pertaining to the private sector
- Strong ability to use MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and particularly Excel) Arabic and English – spoken and written
- Well organized with the capacity to work under pressure
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Commercial Manager – Egypt
Jazeera Airways is looking for Commercial Manager – Egypt who would be accountable for revenue achievement and overall market share growth within Egypt. He/ She shall drive the overall sales and achieve the commercial targets in Egypt by identifying new channels of business, building effective business relationships and enhancing brand visibility.
Commercial Manager must effectively manage the activities of the Sales team & GSA to fulfill market obligations for travel trade, customer and corporate.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Drives Business by leading the sales team in the assigned area/territory to identify: new opportunities, new travel agencies and markets to grow sales and revenue based on market needs and conditions measured to JAZ products and services.
- Translates input received from sales teams into recommendations to Regional Manager based on cost/benefit analysis.
- Drives/supports sales target scales, objectives and performance parameters of the sales team in the assigned geographical area/territory.
- Constantly reviews financial data to evaluate performance, identify shortages, determine root causes, recommend changes to sales team, and implement corrective measures accordingly.
- Develops, capitalizes on and maintains effective relationships with external parties of different nature such as travel agencies, GSAs, government departments, ministries, tourism companies, as well as individual agents and trade companies, to enhance business and grow sales.
- Builds/maintains rapport with stakeholders and key customers in the respective area to ensure offers are made according to their needs and thereby enhance customer satisfaction
- Recognizes the unique needs of the assigned territory versus JAZ products and services; evaluates flights and fares with Revenue Management Team, identifies new route opportunities and recommends the same RM with a proper business case.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns and activities such as roadshows, trade presentations, and FAM trips to ensure increased branding visibility.
- Conducts field visits, benchmark studies and market analysis to keep abreast with competitors’ position, market conditions, and customer needs affecting market trends.
- Generates function-related performance reports regularly.
- Spends time coaching the sales team, identifying skills and opportunities for development; provides advice and guidance on all issues.
- Assists in recruiting staff in new areas, helps establish the office and monitors its operation.
- Selects travel agents based on established criteria.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration specializing in sales or any related field.
- Min 10 years of in-depth sales experience in Key Account Management.
- Airline business experience in Egypt is desirable.
- Track record of consistently high sales performance achievement.
- Ability to handle multiple client accounts.
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills and excellent communication skills.
