Fuel Requirement to American Army at Arifijan and Buehring Camp

This is a special notice for an extension to contract SPE602-20-D-0489 between the US Government and the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC). Kuwait Ministerial Decree Number 6 (1980) specifies that KPC is solely authorized to produce, refine, store, and market refined petroleum products in Kuwait.

The contract action is for bulk fuels requirement for an estimated 30,000,000 USG of Turbine Fuel, Aviation (JA1), NSN 9130-00-753-5026; 18,000,000 USG of Diesel Fuel (DF2), NSN 9140-00-286-5294; and 3,500,000 USG of Unleaded Mid-Grade, Motor Gasoline (MUR), NSN 9130-00-148-7103. The contract is delivered Free on Board (FOB) origin into tank truck within Kuwait.

The extension of DLA Energy’s contract with KPC will be for one year. The contract’s period of performance expires on June 30, 2023 with a 30-day carry-over period.
