Job Summary:
As a Florist / Floral Designer the primary responsibility is to create innovative floral décor and lead floral installation for the store display as well customized bouquets & floral arrangements for customer orders.
Knowledge about a wide range of floral designs, flowers, foliage along with their seasonal compatibility is a necessity.
Instore florist will also be responsible for gift wrapping & creation of gift baskets, boxes for customer orders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Able to create visually appealing flower arrangements for in store display and customer orders.
- Able to provide specialized design and floral expertise to plan, design and create customized floral arrangements.
- Pricing and replenishing of flowers and props from receiving as and when required.
- Responsible for preparing floral containers, required props, floral foams and floral carts for storage and sales.
- Responsible for creating floral designs.
- Responsible for Sorting, organizing, cleaning and restock all supplies.
- Responsible to maintain all in-house plants and floral decorations.
- Monitor all flower vase inventory and counts for breakage or loss
- Maintain photos of all variety of floral arrangements done as a sample or catalogue for the customers or in store displays.
- Responsible for creating gift baskets, boxes & gift wrapping for customer orders and in store displays.
- Responsible for driving the sales in the floral & gifting category.
- Any other duties and tasks in the area assigned by the manager or supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of floral product and design technique.
- Skilled in gift wrapping & the creation of gift baskets & boxes.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Flexibility, punctuality, teamwork, and Cleanliness.
- Ready to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- At least 2 to 4 years of floral design & gift-wrapping experience preferably in the home furnishing retail industry
