JOB DESCRIPTIONS: Crane Operator (OCN), iiQ8 Jobs
- Develops aneffective plan for the layout, security, and safekeeping ofmaterials and equipment during loading, delivering, andunloading
- Performs daily preventativemaintenance inspections on assigned vehicles and ensures vehiclesmeet all Kuwaiti and US Government safety requirements foroperation on public roadways
- Maintains avehicle log in accordance with applicable rules andregulation
- Follows appropriate safetyprocedures when transporting equipment
- Responsible for inspecting the condition of the work siteprior to setting up the crane
- Manipulates themachine to hoist position and/or transport material such asmachinery, equipment and other construction products
- Must be aware of load limits based upon weatherconditions and crane capacity
- Reports vehicledefects, malfunctions, accidents, traffic violations, or damage tothe vehicles immediately to the supervisor or manager
- Complies with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), andthe local policies and standard practices(P&SPs)
- Performs other duties asassigned
JOBQUALIFICATIONS :
- HighSchool diploma or equivalent is required
- Avalid Kuwait Drivers License, a home of country Heavy duty driverslicense for operating crane equipment, and the ability to obtain aU.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operators license for craneand other related Material Handling Equipment
- A minimum of 2 years of operating mobilecranes
- Experience with material handlingequipment (forklifts) is a plus
- Basicmechanical knowledge preferred
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret road maps,traffic signs, traffic signals and other posted regulationsregarding transportation and parking
- Knowledgeof proper securing methods for various types of cargo; using ropes,blocks, chain, binders, and/or covers
- Knowledge of proper rigging techniques for liftingobjects and materials
- Knowledge of US andKuwait driving regulations and guidelines is preferred
- Must have an excellent understanding of all safetydirectives and polices regarding the operation ofequipment

Serve as a primary point of contact between business and its customers promoting company services and products.

• Targeting and identifying new customers
• Meeting with customers to introduce services
• Attend customer inquiries and questions
• Keeping up to date customer records and database
• Promoting provided services to meet sales target
• Being up to date with market changes and supports management in predicting sales trends accordingly
• Present, promote and sell product / service to existing and new customers
• Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationship

• Services existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call existing or potential customers

Candidate Requirements
• High school, Diploma in a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in smilar capacity
• Creativity: Being able to think of new systems and new ways to work. Being able to think creatively and ask the right questions.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to develop new solutions to problems. Having the skills to identify the source of the problem, create, and test solutions.
• Communication Skills: Being able to communicate plans, thoughts, and rationale in the job. Good communication skills will greatly help in accomplishing the job
