Partial curfew likely to continue after Ramadan, iiQ8
Country witnessing rise in cases, ICU occupancy and COVID-19 related deaths
The head of the COVID-19 Supreme Advisory Committee, Dr. Khaled Al Jarallah, indicated that the partial curfew is likely to continue until the end of Ramadan, local media reported.
Al Jarallah pointed out that failure to adhere to health measures across Kuwait has led to an increase in COVID-19 cases throughout the country.
Despite the implementation of the curfew a few weeks ago, Kuwait is still witnessing a rise in cases, ICU occupancy and COVID-19 related deaths.
The partial curfew, which was implemented back in March 7, is from 6:00pm to 5:00am after the government pushed the curfew hour by one-hour last week.
