Government of India has decided to grand the first 5,00,000 Tourist Visas free of charge on a first-come, first-serve basis starting from 6 October 2021. 2. Government of India has also decided to allow certain relaxations in travel restrictions for Foreign Tourists intending to visit India, the salient points of which are : i. Foreign nationals intending to visit India for the purpose of tourism will be allowed to enter India on e-Tourist Visa / Regular / Paper Tourist Visa through charted flights (for group tourism only) from 15 October 2021. ii.
