Yes, please see below for more information: Elderly citizens Can visit a retail office at one of our bus terminals to purchase a GO-Card which will cost 500 fils. This will enable travel for 125 fils per trip.

The maximum amount that will be charged is 300 fils per day, there is no limit to the number of trips that can be made. To be eligible for the discounted travel the elderly citizen must provide their name and address and present a valid elderly card issued by the Ministry of Labour and Social Development, which will be scanned along with the person’s CPR. Special Needs citizens Can visit a retail office at one of our bus terminals to purchase a GO-Card which will cost 500 fils.

This will enable free travel anytime. There is no limit to the number of trips that can be made. To be eligible for the discounted travel the special needs citizen must provide their name and address and

How do I buy a ticket?

You can purchase a GO Card for 500 fils from the ticket window or ticket vending machine in the main stations or from the bus driver*.

You can either top-up the card with credit or you can add a Weekly or Monthly pass.
A single trip costs 275 fils and the daily cap is 700 fils (unlimited trips).

Alternatively a cash single trip ticket can be purchased from the driver for 300 fils.

*- GO Cards purchased from the driver cost 1 BHD (includes 500 fils credit).
