Kuwait had scrapped PCR test requirements for travelers, No PCR Test for arrivals

Kuwait City, 15th February 2022:

No PCR test for arriving passengers from 20th February 2022.

Kuwait cabinet had scrapped PCR test requirements for travellers & unvaccinated students attending schools & universities.

Fully vaccinated passengers no longer required to conduct a PCR test before coming to the country and upon arrival, Government Spokesman M. Tariq Al-Muzaram confirmed.

Starting from Sunday, February 20, 2022, the requirement to conduct a PCR examination will be canceled for fully vaccinated passengers. They will be obligated to home quarantine for a period of time 7 days after arrival, with the possibility of ending the quarantine before that with a negative PCR test.

The non-vaccinated people will be obliged to take a PCR test 72 hours before entry to the flight. Fully vaccinated people are those who took three shots of one of vaccines authorized in Kuwait or those who took the second shot less than nine months ago, and those who recovered from an infection in the past three months.

Not fully vaccinated people are those who got double jabs more than nine months ago. It also identified unvaccinated people as those who did not take two shots of the vaccines authorized in Kuwait.
