JOB SUMMARY

The job holder will support the Finance Director in leading the corporate finance function and the achievement of departmental objectives. The role of the function is to support the business in the preparation of budgets, forecasting financials, perform meaningful analysis of financials, and assist operations in defining meaningful KPIs for operations and to support new initiatives/investments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide analytical support and ongoing monitoring to aid key decision making.
• Monitor and interpret financial performance, provide regular analysis and guidance to Senior Management, offer key insights and recommendations.
• Investment/portfolio performance measurement, monitoring and reporting for local and offshore investment portfolios.
• Contribute towards the annual budgeting and forecasting exercise, integrating with key stakeholders and across functions.
• Financial planning and analysis, financial modelling
• Evaluate investment opportunities: due diligence, investment appraisal, valuation.
• Ad-hoc financial modelling, financial planning and analysis as required.
• Help coach and develop analysts.

EDUCATION/ SKILLS REQUIRED

• Professionally Qualified – CA/CPA/MBA or equivalent with CFA Level 2
• 5-6 years of post-qualification professional experience with business/finance experience
• Strong knowledge of financial and management accounting concepts coupled with excellent financial and analytical capability.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills with the gravitas and presence to interact effectively with key stakeholders.
• Ability to manage delivery of assignments and work to tight deadlines.
• Proficient user of data analytics platforms e.g., Bloomberg, Eikon Reuters
