Philippines Embassy in Kuwait Suspends Services in Kuwait, iiQ8
SUSPENSION OF ON-SITE EMBASSY SERVICES STARTING 2 JULY 2020
The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait regrets to inform the public that one of its employees tested positive for the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). In accordance with the protocols of the World Health Organization and the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health, which requires people in close contact with a COVID-19-positive to undergo a 14-day quarantine, the Embassy announces the suspension of its services effective today, 2 July 2020, until 16 July 2020.

On-site operations of the Embassy, the Philippine Overseas Labor Office, and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (POLO-OWWA) are suspended from 2 July 2020 to 16 July 2020.
Those with scheduled appointments with the Embassy on 2-16 July 2020 are advised to wait for the call or message from the Embassy, preferably through WhatsApp, for the rescheduling of their appointments.

- Kuwait Ministry of Health: 151 (for COVID-19 related cases)

Ikinalulungkot na ibalita sa publiko ng Embahada ng Pilipinas sa Kuwait na isa sa mga empleyado nito ang nagpositibo sa Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). Bilang pagsunod sa mga alituntunin ng World Health Organization at ng Kuwaiti Ministry of Health, kung saan kinakailangang sumailalim sa 14 na araw na quarantine ang mga taong may malapit na pakikipag-ugnayan sa nagpositibo sa COVID-19, inaanunsyo ng Embahada ang suspensyon ng lahat ng serbisyo nito epektibo ngayong araw, 2 Hulyo 2020, hanggang 16 Hulyo 2020.
Ang mga on-site operation ng Embahada, Philippine Overseas Labor Office at Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (POLO-OWWA) ay suspendido mula 2 Hulyo 2020 hanggang 16 Hulyo 2020.
Ang mga may naka-iskedyul na appointment sa Embahada ngayong 2-16 Hulyo 2020 ay inaabisuhang hintayin ang tawag o mensahe ng Embahada, sa pamamagitan ng WhatsApp, para sa pagbabago sa iskedyul ng kanilang mga appointment.
Ang Embahada at ang mga ahensyang kaugnay nito ay patuloy na maglilingkod sa Filipino community sa Kuwait sa pamamagitan ng mga sumusunod na hotline at social media account:
